Small CNC (Genmitsu 4040-PRO)

Reserve the all-new Genmitsu 4040-PRO CNC machine with a working area of 15.7” x 15.7” x 3.1” which is large enough for most daily wood carving projects. Carving project files must be preapproved by one of MDC Iowa's INNOV8 Lab staff members or a volunteer CNC subject matter expert to ensure proper carving bit selection, feedrate, and material selection. All project materials must be provided unless specific permission has been granted to use existing materials at the lab. DO NOT USE MATERIALS WITHOUT PERMISSION. Genmitsu 4040-PRO is compatible with Inventables Easel software. A PC is attached to the CNC machine and can be used to access your Easel projects. If you are not familiar with how to setup and configure a machine profile in Easel, please allow 15-20 minutes at the beginning of your reserved time to have a qualified INNOV8 staff or volunteer assist you with the initial setup. This equipment may be booked for up to two four-hour sessions per week. If you need more time, please speak with INNOV8 staff.
