Reserve the mid-range Anycubic Photon Mono X resin 3D printer with a build volume of 192 x 120 x 245mm (L x W x H) which is perfectly sized for small projects and parts like figurines and jewelry* The Anycubic Photon Mono X is 3X faster than previous resin printer models and has a large 8.9" 4K monochrome LCD print screen allowing for larger prints with more detail and accuracy. The built-in WiFi allows for remote control of print operations including gcode upload so you no longer need a USB drive to transfer print files. The Photon Mono X is a versatile LCD-based SLA printer that is equipped with a 3.5" touch screen and supports 405nm UV resin with layer resolution of 0.01-0.15mm. This equipment may be booked for up to two four-hour sessions per week. If you need more time, please speak with INNOV8 staff. 3D models and gcode files must be preapproved by one of MDC Iowa's INNOV8 Lab staff members or a volunteer 3D printing expert to ensure proper print speed, temperature, and resin selection. MDC Iowa has a large selection of 3D printer supplies including various resin types that can be used for printing single models - multiple prints or small batch printing projects must provide their own filament or resin. DO NOT USE MATERIALS WITHOUT PERMISSION. The Photon Mono X is compatible with Anycubic Photon Workshop, a free 3D slicer software designed for resin 3D printing. If you are not familiar with how to slice your 3D model, please allow 15-20 minutes at the beginning of your reserved time to have a qualified INNOV8 staff or volunteer assist you with the initial setup.
