Reserve the the Cricut Explore Air to cut fabric, leather, and heat transfer vinyl. The ultimate smart cutting machine, the Cricut quickly and accurately cuts hundreds of materials, from the most delicate fabric and paper to the tough stuff like matboard, leather, and balsa wood. Pick a pattern, and Cricut Explorer Air cuts and marks all the pieces in just a few clicks. Super speedy, the Cricut Explore Air 2 is an amazing do-it-yourself cutting machine. Able to cut and write up to two times faster than previous models, the Explore Air 2 helps you make projects using over 100 different materials, including cardstock, vinyl, and iron-on--even thicker materials like leather. Cutting project files must be verified by one of MDC Iowa's INNOV8 Lab staff members or a volunteer Cricut subject matter expert. All project materials must be provided unless specific permission has been granted to use existing materials at the lab. DO NOT USE MATERIALS WITHOUT PERMISSION. This equipment may be booked for up to two two-hour sessions per week. If you need more time, please speak with INNOV8 staff.
